Tianjiu Q&A:

What are the benefits of Tianjiu?

The herbs used in Tianjiu are mostly pungent and warm in nature, thus beneficial for cold-deficiency type diseases. It is particularly effective for allergic rhinitis and asthma, and also very suitable for individuals with sensitive airways and those prone to colds.

Is Tianjiu safe?

Generally speaking, Tianjiu is very safe.

Normal reactions: The application site typically shows skin redness, burning, itching, and a small number of patients may experience stinging pain or small blisters. Some people may develop pigmentation at the application site, which usually fades naturally after a few weeks to months.

As long as you follow the practitioner's instructions, such as dietary restrictions, avoiding strenuous exercise, and removing the patch within the recommended time, the chance of adverse reactions is very low.

Since there are so many benefits, is it suitable for everyone?

Individual constitution is a very important factor; if the constitution is not suitable, it may be counterproductive.

In addition, some patients with conditions such as diabetes, sensitive skin, pregnant women, and children under two years old may not be suitable for Tianjiu.

Therefore, everyone is reminded to consult your Chinese medicine practitioner before undergoing Tianjiu.
